Rhod Arrieta Physiotherapist
Originally from Canada, Rhod had studied at the University of British Columbia, where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Human Kinetics, during which he had the good fortune in mentoring under some of Canada’s best Sports Medicine doctors, surgeons, and exercise physiologists in a state-of-the-art learning facility. Focussing on high performance conditioning and injury rehabilitation taking his knowledge in to various environments.
With this background, Rhod had worked with a vast spectrum of patients and clients, from the multimillion-dollar ice hockey players to the weekend warriors, from workplace injuries to motor vehicle accidents and everything in between, including working at a specialist hand therapy clinic.
Not satisfied with his experiences, Rhod moved to Perth, Australia in 2002 to pursue a Masters degree in Physiotherapy and began working at a Tertiary hospital in 2004. Since then, Rhod has expanded his knowledge and experience in aged care and falls prevention, post-op care, cardio and respiratory therapy, out-patient musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and post-natal and women’s health.
Outside physiotherapy, Rhod has many and varied interests and pursuits ranging from traditional archery, restoration of vintage tools and motorcycles, to Chinese martial arts. All the while finding time to help his two precocious children with their YouTube channels.
Rhod also has experience in mentoring and coaching small start-up companies, young athletes, and student physiotherapists.
